Volleyball Heads Into Postseason With No. 3 NAIA Ranking

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eastern Oregon University’s women’s volleyball team has maintained its impressive No. 3 ranking in the final edition of the 2023 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Ratings. The Mounties’ outstanding performance throughout the season has solidified their position among the nation’s top teams.

In the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Ratings, Northwestern (Iowa) retains the No. 1 spot, with Indiana Wesleyan following closely with 11 of 21 first-place votes. Eastern Oregon University’s Mounties hold the No. 3 ranking with their remarkable 28-1 record, showcasing their consistent excellence.

In addition to their stellar national ranking, the Mounties recently clinched the Cascade Collegiate Conference Regular Season Championship for the 2023 season. With a conference record of 20-1, Eastern Oregon boasts a .952 winning percentage in the CCC, demonstrating their dominance in both conference play and on the national stage. Their remarkable overall performance, with a 27-1 record and a .964 winning percentage, further underlines their excellence. The Mounties have been a force to be reckoned with in all types of games, remaining undefeated at home with an 11-0 record, maintaining a strong 9-1 record on the road, and even holding a flawless 7-0 record on neutral ground. They concluded the regular season on a remarkable 16-game winning streak.
