LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Softball enters the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships with soaring momentum, securing the No. 10 spot in the final NAIA Softball Coaches’ Top 25 Rankings.
The Mountaineers capped off the regular season with an impressive 34-8 overall record, dominating conference play with a remarkable 22-5 standing. As the second seed in the CCC Championships, they await the victor of the #6 Carroll College vs. #3 College of Idaho matchup in the second round.
Scheduled from May 3rd to May 5th, this event will decide the CCC Tournament champion and the conference’s second automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament, with four top 25 teams battling for the title. Should Oregon Tech claim the top position, the runner-up in the tournament will secure the automatic bid.
