For the Thunderbirds it was a tandem of Carleen Murray and Shae Sever in the circle. Collectively they racked up 11 strikeouts while allowing five hits. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fourth inning when Eastern Oregon’s offense came alive. Madelyn Durham delivered a clutch hit, which allowed both Grace Spencer and Addison Ribordy to score giving Eastern a 2-0 lead.
