NEW ORLEANS – Eastern Oregon University’s Women’s Track & Field team has jumped six spots in the NAIA polls, sitting at No. 13 in the second NAIA Women’s Track & Field National Rankings of the season.
The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association unveiled the second edition of the 2024 NAIA Women’s Outdoor National Track & Field Rating Index on Wednesday, a comprehensive ranking is based solely on performances from the ongoing 2024 outdoor track & field season. The most recent poll saw significant movement, as the Mounties advanced to the highest rated team in Cascade Collegiate Conference, as well as the fourth highest team in the West Region. Lewis-Clark State and Multnomah each joined Eastern Oregon in representing the CCC, despite both schools falling ten spots in the rankings.
After impressive performances at the Pacific Multis earlier this week, the Mountaineers will be back in action at the Whitworth Peace Meet on April 5th in Spokane, Washington.
