SALEM, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Women’s Lacrosse was back in action Saturday as they traveled to Salem, Ore. to take on the Bearcats of Willamette University in an exhibition match. The Mounties struggled as they dropped the match by a score of 22-0.
Eastern Oregon struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. Defensively, Willamette stifled the Mounties offense, holding them scoreless for the entire game. Willamette quickly took control of the match, scoring seven goals in the first quarter. The Bearcats continued to fire on all cylinders offensively, ultimately taking the match by a score of 22-0.
Eastern Oregon will be back in action Mar. 3 as they will take on the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash. The match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
