CALDWELL, Idaho. – Eastern Oregon Men’s soccer was back in action Friday as they traveled to Caldwell, Idaho to take on the Yotes of the College of Idaho. The Yotes ultimately took the match by a score of 3-0.
The College of Idaho took control of the game early in the first half, with Dani Alejos scoring an unassisted goal in the 19th minute to give the Yotes a 1-0 lead. The Yotes tacked on another goal in the 73rd minute as Alejos netted his second goal of the match. The scoring concluded in the 78th minute after Pol Romero scored on an assist from Jorge Fernandez to give the Yotes a 3-0 lead. It was a tough match for the Mountaineers as they were out shot by the College of Idaho 11 to Eastern’s three. Eastern Oregon now stands at 2-7-4 overall and 2-5-2 in the conference
Eastern Oregon will be back in action Friday, Oct. 20 as they return home to take on the Beacons of Bushnell University. Match time is set for 1:00 p.m.
