KIRKLAND, Wash. – Eastern Oregon kicked off Cascade Collegiate Conference play Friday afternoon as they took on the Eagles of Northwest University. Eastern racked up 17 shots on the day but ultimately the match ended in a 0-0 tie.
Eastern was aggressive on the offensive side of the ball tallying 12 shots on goal and 17 shots total in the match but were unable to find the back of the net. Sophomore goalkeeper Rylee Schei had two saves in the afternoon to hold the Eagles scoreless. Ultimately, after 90 minutes of play the game was knotted up at zero.

Eastern Oregon will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 15 as they travel to Olympia, Wash. to take on the Geoducks of the Evergreen State College. The match is set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
