Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Maintain Top 25 Rankings

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Both Eastern Oregon Outdoor Track & Field teams remained within the Top 25 of this week’s NAIA National Rankings, with the men’s team holding onto the No. 11 spot and the women’s moving just two spots to No. 19.

The Mountaineers recently competed in the OSU High Performance Meet, finishing the competition with six “A” standards and one “B” standard. The Cascade Collegiate Conference currently holds three spots on the men’s side and four spots on the women’s side of the rankings, less than two weeks away from the CCC Championships held in Klamath Falls beginning May 10th.

Eastern Oregon also showed up across many of the individual event rankings, listed below:

Men’s Event Rankings:
#1 – Steeplechase
#3 – 400 Meter Hurdles
#7 – 110 Meter Hurdles
#7 – Shot Put
#8 – Pole Vault
#13 – Hammer
#15 – 1500 Meters
#15 – 800 Meters

Women’s Event Rankings:
#1 – Heptathlon
#2 – Javelin
#3 – 400 Meter Hurdles
#7 – High Jump
#9 – 100 Meter Hurdles
#11 – 400 Meters
