CORVALLIS, Ore. – Kaylie Hoskins, the standout junior pitcher for the Mountaineers, has once again clinched the Rize Laboratory Softball Pitcher of the Week award.
In the recent series against Carroll College, Hoskins prevented any runs from crossing home plate in 11 innings pitched, maintaining a perfect ERA. Her performance over the weekend included an impressive total of 25 strikeouts.
Hailing from Lake Stevens, Washington, Hoskins continues to set new standards with each appearance in the circle. This marks the sixth time this season and the eleventh time in her career that she has received this honor. Additionally, earlier this season, she was recognized as the NAIA National Pitcher of the Week.
Currently leading the Cascade Collegiate Conference with a remarkable 0.58 ERA and 202 strikeouts, Hoskins solidifies her position as the top pitcher within the conference. The Mounties are currently tied for first place in the CCC with just two weeks remaining in regular season play.
