Hoskins Named CCC Pitcher of the Week For the Fifth Time This Season

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University’s standout pitcher, Kaylie Hoskins, has once again been recognized for her exceptional performance on the diamond. Hoskins, a junior from Lake Stevens, Washington, has been named the Rize Laboratory Softball Pitcher of the Week for the fifth time this season.

Currently ranked No. 15 in the nation, Eastern Oregon University’s softball team boasts an impressive overall record of 22-5, with a conference play record of 13-2.

Hoskins recently dominated in the circle during the Mountaineers series with University of Providence. In a total of 12 innings pitched, she did not allow a single run and conceded only two hits in her first appearance. Notably, her second outing resulted in a perfect game. Hoskins recorded an outstanding 27 strikeouts throughout the series, maintaining a perfect ERA.

This latest recognition marks the tenth time in her career as a Mountie that Hoskins has been honored as Pitcher of the Week, highlighting her consistent excellence on the field.
