KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championship is gearing up to host some of the nation’s most talented athletes, and Eastern Oregon has reason to celebrate as four of its own have secured their spots in the multi-events competition.
Judson Mansfield, Israel Miles, Elizabeth Grandle, and Karli Bedard have all earned their places among the top contenders at the 2024 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Multi-Events Championship.
The road to qualification was not an easy one, with competitors from across the country vying for their chance to compete on the national stage. However, Mansfield, Miles, Grandle, and Bedard showcased their talent and dedication, securing their positions among the top 16 marks for both men’s and women’s heptathlon events.
The NAIA Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championship, to be hosted by Dakota State University, is set to take place at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, S.D., from February 29th to March 2nd.
The final qualifiers for the event will be officially announced on Friday, February 23rd, by 10 a.m. Central Time on naia.org.
