LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon was back in action Sunday as they took on the Wolves of Walla Walla University. Eastern showed to be too much for the Wolves as they ultimately cruised to a 5-0 victory.

Eastern controlled the pace for much of the match, totaling 19 shots with eight being on goal. Eastern found the back of the net for the first time in the 31st minute on a goal by Emanuel Bartolo, assisted by Edgar Romero Perez. The Mounties first half scoring was not done there as Kyle Prusia gave Eastern a 2-0 lead just before the half in the 43rd minute, assisted by Abner Hernandez.

As the second half kicked off Eastern looked to build off of their strong first half and that is precisely what they did scoring three total goals in the half. The scoring was jump started by Yonas Mekonnen in the 54th minute, assisted by Carlos Rodriguez, then by Milton Hernandez in the 84th minute. The final goal of the afternoon for the Mounties was scored in the 85th minute by Lupe Fernandez propelling the Mountaineers to a 5-0 victory over the Wolves.
