EOU Volleyball Checks in at No. 3 in Most Recent NAIA Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eastern Oregon Volleyball has climbed to No. 3 in the recent NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Rankings. Within the Cascade Collegiate Conference, Corban University is ranked No. 6 and Southern Oregon University remains at No. 16. Northwest University also received votes for the first time this season.

Rankings are determined by points, with 30 points for each first-place vote, decreasing by one point per rank. Extreme rankings for each team are omitted, and an extra point is added for every ballot appearance.

Eastern Oregon University’s volleyball is coming off an impressive weekend, defeating Southern Oregon with a clean 3-0 sweep and continuing their streak with a 3-1 win over the Oregon Tech Owls.

Additionally, Mylie Mills and Alexis McMurtrey have recently been distinguished as Rize Laboratory Volleyball Players of the Week. Mills earned the Rize Laboratory Volleyball Defender of the Week title with 15 blocks and 10 kills, building on her previous NAIA Player of the Week accolade.
