EOU Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule

LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University Volleyball and Head Coach Kaki McLean Morehead are excited to announce the 2024 fall schedule. The schedule features 30 total match ups, with 11 games in Quinn Coliseum. Their first eight contests are on the road at two pre-season tournaments in Caldwell, ID and San Antonio, TX.

The Mountaineers are coming off yet another decorated season that saw the team post their highest win percentage in program history thanks to a 34-2 record. In postseason play EOU clinched their second-straight Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship and made it to their second-straight NAIA National Championship semi-final match.

“I think our non conference schedule is going to prepare us for a high level of competition early which is what our goals were considering the amount of returners we will have,” Head Coach Kaki McLean Morehead said. “The CCC will continually prove itself to be a gauntlet this year and we will see high competition night in and night out. We are excited for the challenge and can’t wait to see what 2024 brings for EOU VB.”

The regular season begins Aug. 16th in Caldwell, ID  against Arizona Christian University at 11 am MST with conference play starting Sept. 6th in Klamath Falls against Oregon Tech. EOU opens home CCC play with the only team to hand the Mountaineers a regular-season loss in 2023, Northwest University, on Friday Sept. 13th at 6 p.m. in Quinn Coliseum.

The 2024 season will once again feature top opponents like National Tournament qualifier Southern Oregon University.  EOU is set to take on the Raiders in Ashland for the opening weekend of CCC play on Sept. 7.

Fans can circle Sept. 21 and Oct. 18 on their schedule for the coming season’s installments of the rivalry matchup between EOU and Corban. The first conference championship rematch will be in Salem on Sept. 21 with first serve set for 4 p.m. that Saturday. The Warriors will make their appearance in Quinn Coliseum on Oct. 18 with a start time of 6 p.m.

EOU will wrap up regular CCC play on the road in Portland at Multnomah University and Warner Pacific University on Nov. 8 and 9.

The CCC Championships are set for Nov. 15 through the 16 hosted by the regular-season champion.
