Corvallis, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University proudly celebrates two of its women’s soccer players, Rylee Schei and Emmy Williams, for winning the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Player of the Week honors, sponsored by Rize Laboratory. Their accomplishments on the field against the No. 20 nationally ranked Campbellsville University led to the Mountaineers’ impressive victory.
Rylee Schei – Defensive Player of the Week
The sophomore goalkeeper hailing from Great Falls, Mont., clinched the Rize Laboratory Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week accolade. Schei showcased her expertise against Campbellsville, recording a resounding nine saves that culminated in a shutout. Her performance was pivotal in EOU’s second victory of the season.
Emmy Williams – Offensive Player of the Week
For the second week in a row, the Mounties have taken home Offensive Player of the Week. In the spotlight, Emmy Williams, a senior forward from Middleton, Idaho, swiftly made her mark just five minutes into the match. Williams scored the game-winning goal, propelling the Mountaineers to victory against Campbellsville University.
The Mounties will return to action September 7th when they take on Hope International University in Caldwell, Idaho.
