Eastern Oregon Takes On Day Two of OSU High Performance

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Mountaineers took on day two of the OSU High Performance Invitational, with some impressive performances in the field competitions.

Sammy Conley set a new personal record in the women’s javelin with a throw of 40.74 meters, good for an NAIA “A” standard.

Tyler Jones won the men’s high jump competition, finishing with a season-best 2.10-meter jump and an “A” standard that tied his record as the eighth-best mark in the NAIA this season.

Tanner Nett continued to dominate the men’s shot put, securing a fourth-place finish with an “A” standard toss of 17.29 meters.

Eastern Oregon will return to competition next weekend at the Portland Twilight Meet on May 4th.
